I’m doing my best.” Phyllis, your best isn’t even close to meeting the bare minimum we expect for our town, in fact I’d vouch that your best is the worst our town has seen. Inconsistency sure has its ups and downs, and you’ve taken our town on quite a ride over this last term. I have to agree with councilor Collins-Mrakas’ assessment of how you chair meetings: “The mayor is not aware of or does not follow the procedures in a consistent, fair or appropriate fashion. It’s unequal.” A Leader can be many things, but inconsistent is the one thing they cannot. Not if they claim to have a shred of integrity.
