Weekly Inspiration : Beware of 2000 yr old dog

Shot primarily in Toronto’s Cinespace Film Studios Pompeii opened to moviegoers last month only to be crushed by the LEGO Movie.

History tells us that before Pompeii was crushed by up to 20 ft of ash and pumice from the eruption of Mount Vesuvius it was a thriving town with a population of approx. 20,000, and had a complex water system, an amphitheater, gymnasium and a port.

Objects have been well preserved for centuries because of the lack of air and moisture, among them is the mosaic shown above.

It reads Cave Canem.

Which translates to “Beware the Dog”.

Some things are timeless.

I’m inspired.
