With Thanksgiving in the rear-view mirror I thought it appropriate to do a quick post on Canstruction.
Canstruction is a unique charity recognized for their commitment to innovation, hunger relief and collaboration, helping to raise over 25 million pounds of food since 1992.
Cansculptures, as they are known, are made entirely out of full cans of food and displayed as giant art exhibitions in over 150 cites around the world. All of the food used in the Can-Art sculptures are then donated to local food banks.
You can find out more details on their website here: http://www.canstruction.org/
And if you haven’t visited it before, or in awhile be sure to check out the Aurora Food Pantry. Their website is: http://www.aurorafoodpantry.ca/ and they are always appreciative of donations.
