Weekly Inspiration : environmental footprint on the moon

Last year Canadian artists Caitlind r.c. Brown & Wayne Garrett unveiled "New Moon" to the public at the Lexington Art League’s Luminosity Art Ball.

New Moon is their fourth installation that features re-purposed incandescent bulbs, 5,500 to be exact.

The bulbs are arranged in a globe that hangs over a wooden circle and the public are able to manually change the phases of this illuminated moon by turning a wheel. Check out the video here:
