you’ve got e-fail

Much ado has been made about Hillary Clinton’s term as Secretary of State being conducted without the use of a government email address.

After repeated requests filed under the U.S. Freedom of Information Act including one made five years ago The Associated Press filed a lawsuit today against the State Department to force the release of email correspondence:

The issue of government vs. personal emails with respect to F.O.I. laws was one I touched on 2 years ago here:

Here is the letter I wrote to The Auroran at that time:

Aurora no longer has to worry about Gallo because he has no relation to the town’s business, and it’s no secret that the government that Chris Ballard has embraced is being investigated for deleting emails so that leaves Clr. Gaertner.

Hopefully someone somewhere is reminding her and the rest of councilors about corporate email, because we all know it is too much to expect from the town’s over taxed and underfunded Communication department.
