Aurora Unplugged

Remember Aurora’s “150 Guitars”?

Didn’t think so.

The embarrassing, and not very memorable event expected 150 guitars to show up but only a dozen or so actually did. I posted on it here: https://wattstrending.wordpress.com/2013/08/21/while-5-guitars-gently-weep/

The Toronto Star covered an event last Thursday puts Aurora’s effort to shame:

926 guitarists filled Ed Mirvish Theatre’s lower level — young and old, experienced musicians and giddy novices. The theatre soon became engulfed with strumming and singing as the crowd of strangers joined together in perfect unison.

While Toronto found the right song and engaged their community sadly Aurora remains stuck tuning the key of Me-diochre.

Watts on your mind?
