taking a timeout


They say you can fool some of the people all of the time, and you can fool all of the people some of the time.   I guess the Town of Aurora couldn’t decide between the two when preparing their 2018 Concert In The Park Poster:


Last night, July 4th, was the first in the series and according to this poster, the event was to run from 7pm to 9pm.

That was not the case, the event ended at 8PM as confirmed by a town councillor on Facebook here:


Note the last reply where one attendee arrived at 8:30 only to find out they missed it.

I’m not sure this qualifies as providing an exceptional quality of life for all, and this is not an isolated incident either.  The last poster the town put out they spaced on the date.

If even a broken clock is right twice a day then the Town’s Communications Department needs to put a budget request in for one of those.

Whatever resources they have at their disposal right now is woefully insufficient.
